I thought I'd post a recent painting inspired by an amazing day out 4-wheeling with family. We were on a fairly large parcel of land on an absolutely gorgeous day enjoying the lovely weather, the company, the family dog and the occasional grouping of cows. I was in charge of photos that day and as we were in motion riding through a large grouping of cattle we came upon a rich, thick field of corn. I just kept snapping pictures hoping that some would turn out. As luck would have it, I managed to get this great picture of the corn and fantastic clouds. I held onto that photo for quite awhile and recently tried my hand at painting it. If nothing else...it reminds me of a wonderful day in my life!
